Boduognat looses

I was asked by the archeological museum to paint an epic battle where Boduognat looses to Caesar.

Similar to the painting by Lionel Royer, but more historical correct. A sketch was made by the client.

I went through a few iterations before the client settled with a very similar layout. After a quick black&white value sketch, I started painting.
